Audi Q1 is one of the most awaited mini crossover SUVs in the luxury-packed D+ segment from the German carmaker Audi. Audi Q1, an all-road version of A1, is based on the Volkswagen Group PQ24 platform. The name of Audi Q1 itself suggests the mini crossover to be an entry level compact SUV in the Q series.
Engines & Specifications of Audi Q1
According to official sources, Audi Q1 will be available in both diesel as well as petrol variants. Audi Q1 petrol will be assimilated with 1.4L TFSI engine with a capability of delivering power of around 125 hp. Besides, two other petrol variants generating power of 150 hp and 200 hp will be launched in the market. On the other hand, two diesel variants of Audi Q1 integrating 1.2L TDI and 1.6L engine will be launched. The diesel engine of 1.2L TDI variant will generate power of around 120 hp, while the 1.6L engine will produce 100 to 120 hp of power.
Performance of Audi Q1
Upcoming Audi Q1 will have a six-speed transmission mechanism along with other advanced technologies for a powerful on-road performance. Being an SUV, Audi Q1 is expected to perform well even on off-road terrains. Moreover, anti-lock braking system, electronic stability program and electronic brake force distribution will ensure controlled cruising.

Claimed to be similar to the Audi A1 city car, the mini SUV by Audi, all-road car. The front portion of Q1 resembles with Audi Q5 and has the sporty and elegant features of Q5 and Q7. Chrome lining on the grille adds to the elegance of the car.
